In late 2008 when she was studying English and Illustration at Southern Utah University, Brittany Long Olsen decided to start making autobiographical comics every day as her own way of journal-keeping, and she hasn't missed a day since. Her daily journal comics can be found at http://comicdiaries.com.

"Dendo" is the Japanese word for "missionary work." DENDO: One Year and One Half in Tokyo is the daily journal of an LDS sister missionary in Tokyo, Japan—kept entirely in comic pages.

From February 2012 to August 2013, Sister Long spent time teaching and serving among some of the most amazing people in the world, but it wasn't always easy.

DENDO tells the story of her 18-month service teaching English, helping people follow Jesus Christ, and making some of the best friends of her life.
